In summer 2015, the Mucem in Marseille, France, presented Plan B, a new event. Designed as an alternative to the usual holiday activities, Plan B offered cultural outdoors activities open to all. The budget was tight for this last-minute event.
We proposed to create a festive and light graphic universe working with a strong solid color and a pattern. This graphic principle allowed for multiple variations that would make Plan B exist throughout the Mucem site.
The house of cards we designed detailed all the proposed activities as well as their locations. We guided the visitor with totems placed along the route and small stickers with colored principles, and covered the windows of Fort Saint-Jean with the motif. At last, the whole Mucem featured Plan B’s colors.
