The capital has inspired some of the world's greatest authors. As part of its efforts to promote its cultural heritage, Paris City Hall is offering visitors the chance to explore the city in a different way, following in the footsteps of fictional novelists. This route guides visitors through Paris, helping them to discover, or rediscover, the heroes of French and foreign novels.

The route takes the form of plaques affixed to various facades around the city. We chose to keep to a very Parisian vocabulary, using the graphic codes of street signs. We wanted to be seen without standing out. The round shape of the plaque distinguishes it from the street sign, while blending in with the urban landscape.

The serif fonts chosen are reminiscent of classic publishing fonts.
