In 2024, the pharmaceutical laboratory Biocodex is relocating to new offices in Gentilly, featuring numerous meeting spaces. However, at the Aqueduc site, employees will transition to a flex office setup, and Biocodex is committed to supporting them through this change. The layout of the spaces has been meticulously planned by the Upside agency.

We opted for a minimalist and refined signage system to reflect the advanced technology of the laboratory, which specializes in gut microbiota. The logotype’s colors—anise green and magenta—are used on the edges of the letters, creating a distinct and branded environment.

The meeting rooms and glass-walled pods feature varying levels of privacy. We designed a pattern inspired by the Biocodex emblem that adjusts in density based on the required level of transparency. Additionally, the pods signal occupancy by shifting from green to red when in use. This discreet system is managed with a rectangular flag that integrates a subtle lighting solution.
