The MTO Museum of Sufi Art and Culture (MACS MTO™) stands out as the world’s first museum entirely dedicated to Sufism. Opening in 2024 in Chatou, the museum highlights the timeless principles of Sufism through a dialogue between its collection of artifacts and contemporary art. The scenography is led by Atelier Maciej Fiszer, while CL Design was entrusted with the graphic design and signage.

In keeping with the spirit of a place devoted to transmitting the depth and richness of Sufi spirituality, we opted for a minimalist design that fosters introspection and contemplation. Wall markings were screen-printed directly onto surfaces, seamlessly integrating into the space, while illustrated labels provide an accessible and visually engaging way to interpret the exhibits.

Every graphic element was carefully crafted to enhance the museum's materials and architecture, creating a harmonious balance between tradition and modernity. Strong yet elegant typography, neutral and soothing color palettes, and precise layouts ensure that the visual identity emphasizes the content without distraction. In the museum’s garden, minimalist, landscape-integrated supports display artworks while preserving the natural surroundings, blending design with nature.
