Several architects joined forces to create Socle in order to compete with international architectural firms when responding to request for proposals. The group includes French agencies with complementary skills and a nationwide presence. Socle develops unique architectures adapted to the expectations of the project owners.

Looking for a common denominator for the different agencies, we decided to use a sidebar that systematically marks the plans of the architects. The identity of the group was based on a simple and functional typographic frame: these two qualities evoke rigor and contemporary style, in line with the pooling of expertise.
